It’s Not a Party Until the Fire Department Shows Up

Brigitte Gall – Award Winning Performer, Writer and Producer, Minden, Ontario

Having grown up in the small prairie town of Crewman Saskatchewan (population 101), Brigitte Gall knew that there was something bigger outside her door, but she had no idea how to start the journey – so, naturally, she went to Pakistan.  From there she moved to Toronto where she joined the Second City Touring Company, auditioned for and was accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, where she lucked into a posh 2 bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side being rented out to students by a Contessa going through a nasty divorce. Party on!

She moved back to Toronto, toured the world on the syndicated television series “World’s Greatest Spas’, renovated a house on 52 episodes of her own renovation/design show ‘Me, My House and I’, and then?  Chose to move to the beautiful town of Minden Hills where she and her husband continue to work in the arts.  Brigitte has recently begun working on a new television series being produced here in Haliburton County, which only re-affirms for her that you don’t need to travel the world or live in the hecca-mecca of a city to continue to fan the spark of creative flames. They can ignite in even the smallest places.
