Colour Film

US$0.00

With songs that play like home movies, Colour Film is Matthew de Zoete, a Hamilton-area farmer.  Mixing a storyteller's eye for detail with a knack for melody, he presents snapshots of everyday life that illuminate the underlying currents.  After years of touring solo or with a small ensemble, Colour Film concerts are communal experiences, engaging audiences with stories and sing-alongs.  A recent review from a SOCAN exec:  "He sounded great, gentle but intense, while his backing singer offered sublime harmonies.  As haunting as the music is, his onstage banter is the exact equal-but-opposite — funny, self-deprecating, and utterly charming."
