A Millennial autoharpist meets a Boomer 12-string guitarist, and all sorts of musical magic ensues. Ottawa-based acoustic duo Libby & Cal transcend boundaries and trip across genres while tackling subjects that are rarely voiced in song. Their music is heartfelt, delightfully risqué, and painfully honest. Libby and Cal both grew up singing in choirs, and vocal harmonies are an integral part of their sound.
Over the past six years, they have played at diverse venues including the California Autoharp Gathering, Wawa Music Festival, and Folk in the Forest. In May 2025 they released their third album, The Hagstrom-Schmidt Affair.
