Skye Smith is creating a platform in the Sault where local artists can tell their unique stories through dance and theatre. Founder of the Sault Indie Theatre Collective, Skye creates warm and safe spaces for artists to thrive. Her latest works honour women’s voices with a strong undertone in feminism.
She has a strong inclination for social justice and this passion colours all of her work. Her latest work include “L” and “Calla”, the latter of which she memorialized into a novella, Becoming Calla. Skye is a proud mother, avid home cook, yogi, and cat lover.
