Sonshine and Broccoli

For 22 years families across Canada have been singing and dancing along with Sonshine and Broccoli, the Juno-nominated duo from Toronto who know how important it is for children to have music of their own. Described as "brilliant performers whose music and energy are infectious" by Chris Kennedy of the Royal Ontario Museum, these best friends use their talent to create shared experiences that build confidence and connection.

In 2019 Sonshine and Broccoli were nominated for a Juno Award for Best Children’s Album “Cool to be Kind”. Sonshine and Broccoli won Best Children’s Song for their song “Spread Your Wings and Fly" in The USA Songwriting Competition and most recently won Best Children’s Song for the 2023 USA Songwriting Competition for their song “Born To Be Brave” from their 2003 album of the same name.

Sonshine and Broccoli’s notable performances have been performing at The Juno Awards for The Junior Juno’s, opening up for Silento (Watch Me Whip/ Nae/Nae) at the 2016 NBA All Star Game in Toronto they opened for the legendary 4 time Juno award winner Fred Penner at Blue Mountain Village and this year opening for Big Wreck for The Barrie New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown.
